Rebecca, have you ever tried acupuncture?  If the spot is along a lymphatic channel (also between the muscles), you might find faster healing (ahem, it's all relative, isn't it? laugh!) if you get acupuncture to get that energy unstuck.  A massage therapist or healing touch practitioner with reiki training also might be able to do move the energy for you.

The iother thing you might consider is a nikken knee wrap.  I think it would cover a couple inches below your knee. I used to think nikken was all hocus pocus mumbo jumbo until i saw the proof of it working.

LOL! Well, I got my come-uppance (but I think DH cheated).

I had so much inside work to do today: kitchen was a pit, 7 loads of laundry, grocery shopping involving 3 stores, new recipe for individual cheese cakes to try for Mothers' Day, that I never got out to the boat. DH, however, did NOT do his inside chores. Instead he went out and almost finished his part of the boat, leaving me well behind once again! And then he had the nerve to tell me that next year I "won't get off so easy," as I'll need to help him with the exterior!

In truth, I do need to help him with the exterior: it's tough on his shoulder (rotator cuff injuries and repairs) to do all the wax on and wax off as well as buffing, but I still say he cheated this year!
