Hi Jody!

I'm disappointed that I couldn't eat at lunchtime. My stomach just clamped down and didn't want anything. I had eaten 1 rib and my nose started running...time to stop! Dang it!  Have I done myself a disservice by trying desperately to keep my sleeve tiny?

Absolutely not!  Just think of how far ahead of the game you are by having the tiny sleeve.

There are days where I can hardly eat, then some I can eat a lot... not sure why that happens, I'm sure its just one of those days for you.

Went to an herb festival and bought a bunch of herbs and got them in the ground.  Been getting caught up on my personnel paperwork and got a bunch done today.  I'm hating that we are having all this absolutely beautiful weather and my knee is for ****  I bought a brace yesterday and that seems to be helping but staying off it helps as much as anything.  Maybe tomorrow I will be able to get one or both of the ponies out for a drive.  At this point, it requires too much walking to get everything out and them ready.

Meals
decaf protein coffee  26g
protein pancake  15g
scallops, roasted kale  15g
ham, collards  10g
pot roast, salad, califlower 16g
protein ice cream  20g

totals
calories  700
protein  103
carbs  20net

What happened to your knee?  I don't remember reading anything about it....

The weather here has been crappy.  Supposed to have been a nice sunny, warm day and ended up cloudy, 30-40mph winds with rain showers around and didn't even hit 60.... Grrr - tired of this crap!

I injured it in the 7th grade, yeah, almost 50 yrs ago. Over the years, I have injured it over and over.   The joint is really loose and sometimes it just doesn't work right.  Most of the time, I can still do what I need to but lately it has been really sore.  I probably should have surgery on it but they can't assure me it will be any better.  I hoped losing weight and getting more active would make it ok but although it is better, it isn't normal.  Funny, the only time in my adult life it was good was when I was running.  Then my hips gave out.  Can't win for losing.

Thanks, Ava.  It will get better, hopefully soon.

Money issues drive me crazy.  DH and I have been married for 38 yrs and we keep seperate accounts and money.  I assure all the bills are paid because I can't trust him to do it.  He handles all the investments (not that there are so many) and is averaging about a 33% return on investment.  We have found a system that works for us but when we met, he kept his money in a book and when it was gone between paychecks (always), he just did without.  We had some rough times in the beginning until we came to grips with all of it.
