HAHA! Sorry need to clarify, it was a cesar salad with grilled tuna on top of it and it was absolutely YUMMY! Not sure how much of the tuna I ate but definately had 5-6 1 oz chunks and still have that many left.

I haven't had a protein drink today - my weekends really knock me off schedule.  Wonder what it will be like when I retire... only worse I'd think unless I can get into a schedule of sorts.

I didn't end up riding my bike.  The wind was blowing 30-40mph and it didn't get nearly as warm as they said - glad I didn't.  Have some rain around too.

2 big protein chai teas

lots of arguing on the phone over this house and the upcoming ( maybe im praying it comes through still mortgage ( this consumes every day of my life it seems )

found out Hubby is 100% broke at the end of the month - so worried and wondering whether I can live with these crazy people who seem to think this is NORMAL lol !! I may make 1/10th of the money he does but I have never been without a prudent reserve and savings ...

I'm really not sure I can handle this even temporarily ..it feels like an Alice-fell -down-the Rabbit hole situation.

His Dad tells me its OK because he never asked for money all these years - well to me living in a starter home with a nearly quarter million dollar a year income well into middle age ( and only having 80 ,000 equity in THAT !!!! ) IS ABSOLUTELY a testament to total financial unmanageability . Not to mention the 57 mortgage lates on his record.

But his Dad whose cooperation and backing I need 100% in order to force the necessary cutbacks in unnecessary monthly spending and lasting changes ... is not on my side . He thinks its OK .

Of course He would - he started what should have been a two hundred-million dollar business ( it became and is wirth that to somebody else ) and now lives in a trailer home . And he just paid some chick $2,500 ( !!!! ) hard earned cash ..to I kid you not , put mulch down around it and pick up some twigs. While he has MY hubby paying his phone bill ... Grrr,is giving money to churches left and right , and then tells us he can't afford to pay the insurance supplement for long term care or the insurance on his car !

WHAT have I married into ?

in spite of all this stress my food has been surprisingly good .

Homemade spinach puree .

4 ounces vegetarian blue " cheese " made with tofu ( 1 gram fat per ounce )

3 slices vegetarian " bacon " one gram fat each

one organic egg

about 6 tiny pierogies - 2 grams fat maybe 3 total .

2 bananas very early this morning

Im making fatfree strudel shell with fat free homemade spanakopita filling inside using my homegrown gorgeous spinach

hopefully a salad with dinner with my greenhouse grown mesclun and window ripened tomatoes and fat free dressing .

EXercise - planting squash outside , perhaps even a rollerblade or run later . Wantedto go this morning but boy did I get caught up .

Hi Ava!  I've missed you around here!

Sounds like you definitely have your hands full... I guess you're the only one that can decide if you can handle what you've married into... honestly I don't think I'd be wanting to get into a financial binding agreement with him now if that's the way he is, and if you're having second thoughts....

Your food looks good!  You always have such a unique menu!!

Thanks  for thoughtful  caring feedback Jody .   He's  paying for the house  .   " All " i'm investing is my time ... and ive agreed to landscape and furni**** which  will be a considerable monetary investment .

My name is going on the deed  ..but  its meaningless  if he doesnt pay  the mortgage .   The only saving grace is this mortgage when both his and FIL  homes aresold is exactly the same amount as the one he has ...  the problem is the additional two thousand a month in taxes ( I KNOW  INSANE ) .

Some of that will be offset by  docking fees ( property has five boatslips ) but not all.

Right  now I'm just trying to close the deal ...  in spite of his  failing to pay the March mortgage on the home he has .  Yep he did THAT  .   He has three  30 day  mortgage lates THIS YEAR  !!

Its a gosh darn miracle (  and only because his Father with perfectcredit and major assets is on board )  that we're  getting offered a mortgage at all.

We were  THISCLOSE to closing and then the March 30 day late came popping up from the credit bureaus .. like he could hide it .

I can't believe hat somehow through only God's  grace  I've managed to salvage this deal with under 5% interest rate .  But thats providing we can close within two weeks - so I'm sweating bullets .  His credit score has to come up by then, two thirty day lates  have to disppear off the record ...  it seems like an impossible task frankly .
