When Charles and Diana got married, I was awestruck at how simple beautiful Diana was and enraged at how the press treated her even before the wedding. It hurt my heart when things went down hill and she was ultimately killed trying to avoid the press.
I'm swinging royal lizards that this relationship will set things to right and they live happily ever after. What a sap I am! lol

We share our wedding date with the Royal couple. 29 April.
We're heading to VA for a weekend to celebrate OUR anniversary, staying in a B&B-- all set up by the DH, which is a wonderful anniversary gift. A stop in Billsburg, maybe dinner in one of the colonial inns, some shopping at the outlets maybe, some historical touring. No internet surfing or posting here.
We're going to buy a tree as our gift to one another, and plant it in the yard so we can say "Do you remember when that tree was....?"
Have I said how much I love my hubby. He's a gem.

Today is Tom's birthday, but we won't be celebrating. He's going to a buddies cabin and helping him open it for the year.

Congrats on those 30+ years of marriage. That too is amazing, and takes dedication and lots of patience.
We celebrated 5 years "church married" this weekend, although the unofficially married count was 12 years around Valentine's Day. And a few more years of casual friendship and dating.
