I finally decided on my surgery of choice. I am going with the sleeve and I am so excited about my decision. I have a few final things to clear up before sending to insurance. Based on my history, I meet all criteria for the sleeve and my surgeons office does not anticipate any problems with approval.
With that being said....my surgery is tentatively scheduled for JUNE 16th. I can't beleive it is happening so fast. I went to my seminar on April 6th and have been working VERY hard to complete all requirements. I don't want to get my hopes up too soon but I can't beleive that she would schedule me for surgery if she thought something would go wrong. Anyway, please keep your fingers crossed for me that the next week and a half of my life goes smoothly without any glitches. By May 10th all drs. appts./reports/charts/letters/ etc. etc...will be done and sumbitted to insurance. My insurance usually sends approvals within a few days.
Is this really happening????
I am excited beyond words.
