My shoulder has been bothering me for a while now. I have been putting it off. Since we are out of school this week I decided to go get it checked out. At first the doctor thought it might be related to the RNY. He said he has seen it alot in bypass patients. With mallobsorption yatta yatta.. I said really cause I really don't think that is it. He said well lets check you out and see. After further examination he concluded that I have tears some kind of  ligament that goes from my arm to my collar bone area. I told him it felt like my arm was hanging on by a thread. He gave me a shot right in that area. No exercise for 2 days.  Hopefully it will help to heal it or I could be facing surgery in 6 weeks. He said if it isn't healed he could go in and clean it up, clip somethings and reattach. He is a world renound surgeon. I had been to him a few years ago. He cleaned up some very inflamed tissue last time. He was blown away by my weightloss. I pray I don't have to have surgery but it can be pretty painful at times. Tylenol doesn't do JACK for it. Guess time will tell.
Nothing tastes as good as this feels!

Good Luck and I have found many want to blame everything on WLS...Hope it heals well and soon.

How in the Sam Hill could he relate shoulder issues to WLS and malabsorption?!?!  Good grief!

Ok, I hope the shot will let you heal up some. It sounds like you've been through this before, I hope surgery won't be the answer this time.

Ouch!  I've had shoulder surgery... torn ligaments are NOT fun!

Hope they can figure out a way without surgery.

Sorry you are hurting but maybe the shot will get it going in the right direction.  Yeah, I haven't found Tylenol to ever touch anything that hurt on me.
