First stall over!
It took ten l...o...n...g days but my first stall finally broke today! I've been bouncing between 178-179 for what feels like forever, but the scale finally read 175.8 this morning!! I've been keeping up on the exercise, protein and water and could still see and feel my clothes getting looser which was the only thing that kept me sane. I'm grateful I knew this was expected since no one at my bariatric center volunteered this would likely happen.
If I haven't said it before, I appreciate all the great help from everyone on this board!

You know what? You're very right. I don't remember in my classes saying stalls would happen either and what caused them and how to break them. Of course there was SO much information flying around my head was spinning as it was.
I'd just LOVE to be a guest speaker at a pre-WLS seminar. There's SO much I could share that they don't (as most of us could).
Congrats on your stall ending! Perseverance and patience will pay off!

I know stalls weren't mentioned at my pre-op classes... We had our NP in one night and I asked for her opinion on what to do and she said "just keep working your plan"... uh... OK.... I think that was the first night I realized how important a group like everyone here on the LW board would be.
Thank YOU all... I may not reply to all posts but I'm out there reading and absorbing!!!
