Good Morning. I think summer has arrived

Yesterday was awesome and today is supposed to be 88 degrees with a chance of scattered thunder storms. Sounds like summer to me! But you know what? Summer is much easier to handle when you're near goal.  You know how we're always complaining about being cold? Well, now you can raise your thermostat during the summer months and run it closer to 74 degrees rather than 68. lol  You'll be able to get away from wearing black all the time and switch to lighter colors and shorter sleeves. Ahhhh!

Work your plans babeeeees! Get to goal this summer.

Y'all have a great Monday and a great week.

You know it babeeeee.  I've got 36 pounds to goal.  They're gonna melt off in the heat.  By summer's end, I'll be where I've always wanted to be.

You are right about the cold hot thing.  Every other summer I have complained about being hot, now my DH wants it colder than I do and I'm sitting to watch TV with an afgan.

Gardening and ponies today, plus work stuff but it is going to be beautiful and warm.

I am so hitting goal this summer (as soon as I figure out what my issue is)  but I hope the warm weather is hear to stay.  A bit foggy this AM hoping it will burn off and the sun will peak out.  I am working form home and have the windows open to air out this house.

Happy Monday!

Yay for Summer!  I'm a teacher so summer is my FAVORITE season...naturally!

I hear ya about reaching goal!  I plan to reach my doctors goal (130) and my personal goal 120-125 (normal BMI) by summer (more specifically my surgiversary, July 19, 2011)!

Got beef up the exercise after school gets out in June!

PS...I am all about BRIGHT colors this summer...no more black for me!

My husband and I were just talking about how summer will be for me, the person who is always cold~ can't wait to see...it's my first summer at goal, and I am sure when the fam has the air on I will be sitting under a blanket still!!! Looking forward to a fun summer, walking my dog..being outside with my kids...and waiting for our summer vacation on the beach! And then winter vacation in Hawaii....This will be a first for our family, double vacations!!! But we promised our kids we would take them to Hawaii once they both made it past the 12 yr stage...they want  to scuba dive and you have to be 12 or older! It's going to be our year for adventure...all things I would of hated to do over a year ago!

Enjoy the start of summer/warm weather everyone!

I was able to sit out in the sun yesterday when my grandchildren were napping and I got a little sunburn. In Northern Alberta I didn't expect to be sitting out in a tank top for couple hours in April. In two weeks I'll be home with my daughter and grandchildren coming with me. I miss being home and it is warmer there. I'll be happy to play at the playground every day with thegrandchildren.

I'm glad my husband lost weight this year too because he feels colder often too, so the air conditioning won't be so cold this summer for us.

Six pounds to the clinic's goal, thirty-six to my goal.

It was a beautiful 70 degrees this morning when I left my house.  It is in the upper 80's now.

Before WLS I could not go out in the heat, it was horrible.  Now I actually like to go outside and do things.  It does not feel nearly as hot as before.

I am leaving early in the morning to attend a meeting for 3 days.  The programs start at 8am.  This will be hard for me because I'm not used to getting to wor****il 9am!!  The days are pretty packed so hopefully I can get online at night.
