Please Swing Lizards *Update*

After posting about my car I was driving it and the transmission started acting funny.  Like expensive funny.  I have so little money it's not funny.  I just put my last $10 in the gas tank.  I feel sick.  I don't know what to do.
I just talked to someone who told me worse case scenerio is about $2300 which is out of the question.  He said he might be able to fix it for $1500 which is also out of reach.  He said he would diagnose it for free so I may bring it in just so I can get more depressed.
Please swing whatever you got.

Update  I just sold the car.  I put an ad on Craigslist and the first guy that looked at it bought it and I got what I was hoping to get.
I will be able to use my daughter's car for a while until I find another car I can afford.  My neighbor is getting it running so I have some time  to find something that would work.  Keep swinging that I find a good car.

Swinging lizards for you Ladytazz.  You just don't need this hassle right now.  Hope it turns out to be something minor.  Maybe you can work out a payment plan?

Yeah, it's bad.  I don't  have $1500 so I guess I am screwed.  I'm going to try to sell it as is and see if I can find a cheap car that runs decent.

Oh man, I'm swinging for you.  Let's hope it isn't bad and you can find a way to get it fixed or sold so you can get something else.  It is really hard these days to do without a vehicle.

I guess I'm going to drive it if I can, at least for emergencies.  I am trying to decide if it's worth fixing.  $1500 is a lot of money but I doubt I could manage to find a good used car for that much, especially with a new transmission.  It is fairly low milage.  I can't do anything right now anyway.
