Hello to all of my Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!

Morning Everyone!!!   HAPPY GOOD FRIDAY!!!!!   I have to do all of my last minute shopping for our vacation.   I'm so looking forward to warmth and sun!!!   I'm having trouble finding bermuda shorts.  There are a ton of summer tops but the shorts aren't in stock yet. I ordered 6 or 7 pair from Macy's and not a single one fits so I have to make a trip there to return them.  I might just have to wait until I get to FL and buy some there.

I've got 1 pound to get off!!!!   Protein...Protein...Protein!!!!!!!!!  It won't come off!!!

HONEYMOON PERIOD EVENTUALLY ENDS FOR EVERYONE...DON'T FALL INTO THE I CAN GET AWAY WITH IT MODE!!!!!!!   BAD HABITS ARE HARD TO BREAK AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD ENDS and THE POUNDS START CREEPING BACK!!!!!!!

New Day! I am happy to finally have a new job. it is two hours away from where I live now. But I only moved here because after I had surgery I was so sick we knew it was cheaper to live here then in NYC. I never thought I would get stuck here so long looking for work!
I'm not trilled about moving to the "North Country" of NY state. That area gets cold in the winter, that below zero kind of cold with a wind. But I have a place of employment and it could not come at a better time. I am getting to the end of my unemployment. Start work in 2 weeks, UE runs out in 3 weeks. Cutting it close!

Breakfast- husband has a gut renching stomach bug this morning, he has taken away my appitite. unlike me he is mean when he is sick, so I can't do anything for him. I keep hoping the phenergan will put him to sleep, but he continues to breath...I mean....

Lunch-maybe some chicken noodle soup

Dinner-Unsure

I'm glad you found a job before all of your benefits ran out.  Sorry it's going to be such a long drive.  I can't even imagine doing that every day.   I've always worked within 15 minutes of my house.   Although thats not strange around here since you can get from one end of our little town to the other in less than 15 minutes....LOL

Hope DH starts feeling better.   Mine turns into a major baby and he drives me crazy!!

I hope you got some Protein in during the day!

Good for you on the snack control!  That's hard to do!  I've had a small bag of Lays potato chips laying on the counter now for 2 days and haven't opened them.  I know once I do its the end of me. I did have a yummy cookie last night and it didn't sit well in my tummy.  Not sure why, I've had these cookies before and didn't have a problem, but then again I did have 2 beers for my birthday and it could be the combo of the alcohol/sugar.. but I know it wasn't RH.. didn't have those symptoms - just upset tummy without the hot flashes...  oh well...

Working from home today.  Behind on my routine, but that's normal.....

B - coffee so far
L -leftover chicken wings
D - open face ribeye sandwich with no bread, and  a few french fries and 2 beers

vits:  yes
water:  did ok

Those chips would not last two minutes on my counter!  How about taking a hammer to them?  LOL

I hope you had a great birthday....SORRY I missed it!!!

I'm glad I have been able to beat the snacks at work will help me have more control on vacation.  I definitely don't want to come home with a few added pounds on like I did a couple weeks ago.  I still haven't gotten the last 1 off.

Congrats on finally being able to get rid of some of your larger clothes sizes.  The willingness to give up more will come.

Good Menu!

Oh....warm sunshine sounds so wonderful about now.  It is April 22nd and SNOWING outside for the third day in a row. It's not that cold out and has been warming up to the upper 40s, but still these big puffy flakes keep falling during the day!

I had a real "drrr' moment this morning. I have been having trouble getting my protein down the last few days. I take 3 hours to get through my protein drink and then can only gag all but half of it down.  I was mixing them with 16-20oz of water so I could get my fluids in too.  So this morning I mixed the Syntrax lemon tea with about 8 oz of water and added some crystal light and got it all down within about 20 mintues. BAM...23g protein done before I even started work. I feel much better...probably just mental.  I know it seems like such a "duh" thing, but still trying to figure this all out!!

B: Syntrax Lemon Tea  100 cal and 23 protein
S: 1/2 greek yogurt  60 cal and 8 protein
L: Syntrax Strawberry Kiwi  100 cal and 23 protein
S: 1/4 meatloaf (had this for dinner last night and it sat ok) 150c and 11protein
D: Syntrax Latte w/ unjury 180cal & 43 protein

Total: 590 calories and 108 protein

Vitamins...morning batch done. Thanks for all the posts earlier on vitamins, I think I have a 'system' now :)
