Ugh!
I made my homemade pizza today, and it was just too irrestible. I had a small corner piece with veggies and a little sausage on it, and oh my it was delicioso!! But within a few minutes, my pouch was not happy with me!

I felt like I couldnt swallow my own spit, and there was so much of it. tmi, sorry.
I guess I wont be doing that again. I know pouchie doesnt like dough, but I did it anyways!

Live and learn I guess.

I feel so bad for you all that have this happen. Its awful!

Maria, hope you feel better soon.  I can't do a lot of bread either.  I try to stick with tortilla's and can only handle 1/2 of one.

So far the only foamies I have had was from eating steak too  fast and not chewing well enough.  Yuck.  But you guys have made me pay great attention to bread products and when they were finally (6 months) added to my plan, I have only tried flat sandwich rounds, 1/2 at a time.  So now I'll be sure to watch pizza dough for sure.

My plan says to eat well toasted bread.  I guess so that it won't swell up in my Sleeve.  The only bread that I really eat at this point is La Tortilla Factory High Fiber Low Carb.  I eat it as an occasional protein/salad wrap for medicinal purposes, if you know what I mean.  18 carbs/12 fiber and it has never set off a craving for more.

Months ago I had 1/4 of a salad plate size individual very thin crust pizza and it went down fine.  I think the Sleeve is different from the Pouch though.  I haven't tried it for a long time as I know I could eat more now and don't want to have that temptation.  I'm way too focused on goal to eat things that might sidetrack me.

I feel your pain, I ate a regular "bread" because it looked so yummy and it was just awful. I have found though that I can eat a very thin crust or a tortilla. Hope you feel better really soon.
