Upper Endoscopy

I went today to my surgeon for a follow up (tomorrow is the RD).  He said that I am doing fine.  I mentioned how I have been throwing up 3-4 times per week.  My surgeon ordered an endoscopy for May 2.  He said it is unusual to be vomiting this often at almost five months out.  Hopefully, it will be nothing.  I figure better safe than sorry! 

I hope I can talk them into a local and not a sedation.  I hate that stuff.

Amy, good luck with the endoscopy.  Hope they can find and treat the cause of your throwing up.  I have not thrown up since I had surgery.  I have had the foamies and have wished I could throw up!!

I hate throwing up.  Haven't since surgery.  Let's hope they can get you fixed.
I had sedation with the Endoscope.  I don't want them sticking that stuff down my throat and knowing it.  I had no side effects from the sedation except they wouldn't let me drive myself home.

Hope all goes well with the scope.
