digital food scales

Does anyone have a digital food scale they prefer?  I have the $4 manual version which will work just fine -- I'm thinking of a reward gift for myself down the road...

The Target $50 version had food stats built in and I'm wondering if it is worth the $$$ ???

Thx.

I bought the cheap one at Walmart. I think it was around $18.00 and it worked fine for me.  The batteries have to be changed often and it automatically turns itself off after a few seconds.

Thanks, Linda -- didn't realize they could be battery operated.  Really nice pedicure or digital food scale???  Hmmm.... I think my feet might just win!

LOL-I loved getting a pedicure especially in spring time for sandals.  But now I do it myself since I can reach my toes!!!  Who would have ever thought I could reach my toes again.....

I'm thinking mine was about 35 at walmart.  The spring one didn't give me what I wanted because it really wasn't accurate enough.  I love this one.  Can do ounces, grams, etc and seems pretty accurate.

I got one for under $10 on Ebay and it has lasted me about 9 months. Pretty basic but does it's job.

I got http://www.crateandbarrel.com/kitchen-and-food/specialty-appliances/oxo-food-scale-with-pullout-display/s359729 . It's pricey, but good and strong and very accurate, down to a single gram. Additionally, it zeroes out so that I can add in other ingredients and changes measurements on the fly (so one ounce of this, and 7 grams of that) as I put things together.

I wound up doing my toes at home for a while, but for me, it was worth it!
