OT, some swearing, Just venting...very, very long

WOW is all that comes to mind when I look at the salary you mention!  I am just a measly CT Tech and I earn that much here in MN.  AND the facility I work at is one of the worst paying places in the twin cities metro area!  Our charge RN's make close to 70000!  Maybe you should start considering relocation if that is something you and your family can do.  Don't get me wrong we have a down employment market here too but at least the pay is better for less work!  I hope you find something that works for you.  I firmly believe that all things happen for a reason and I'm sure those reasons will be revealed to you soon!  Do you really want to work for a place that is that unorganized and treats you so rudely before they've even hired you??  I know you want to stew on this but I'm always trying to find that silver lining.....LOL  Good luck sweetie!

Today is a new day and yes I realized that I lucked out by having them show their true colors before I was very involved with them, but the thought of what could have been is still fresh in my mind.
Thank you for responding it really made my day that people actually read my rant and gave me such wonderful insights and support.

 I'm so sorry you are going through this ****  Nurses, like teachers, have always been told they could always find a job.  Welcome to the new order of things, huh. Glad you found out how disorganized that home was before you accepted a position.  Here's hoping you don't have to wait much longer for a job that, if not a dream job, is a least a fair and good one.
