Menus and Miles Monday April 18th

Got pretty heavy into carbs and sugar this weekend while the DGSs were visiting.

Interestingly enough on sun I was prepared to go cold turkey getting off those carbs but I didn't even crve them or have a struggle at all. Very thankful for that!

I seem to be going thru an "I don't care" phase lately. Not that I  don't care about not eating poorly or losing weight but more that I don't care to plan what I will eat and end up grabbing something...things that are on my plan for sure and healthy but it makes for a lopsided  menu for the day.

B double protein cocoa
L tuna .5 pouch
S tuna .5 pouch and 7 soy flax chips
S balance bar
D black beans,brown rice cheddar cheese
S cottage cheese

Prayers go up to all the families affected by the tornado.  We are riding down the interstate on our way home from visiting my sister-in-law in the hospital.  It was so sad.  She did open her eyes and can nod her head when we asked her a question.  She can squeeze her left hand a little, but she has a very long recovery road ahead of her.  She is only 60 years old and they said it was a very massive stroke.  She stopped taking her blood pressure medicine and probably all of this could have been avoided if someone had noticed the signs of a stroke and gotten her help sooner.

S:  Coffee-pretty sure this was regular coffee

Lunch/dinner combo:  Taco salad in hospital cafeteria

S:  Pork Rinds/Cashews

Vitamins:  Behind schedule - hope to be finished by the time I get home tonight.
Water:  60 ozs - will be low today
Miles:  Walked this morning about 1 mile
