I'm NOT loving it....

Jody, you always look great.  Now the important thing, particularly with all the job/life changes etc, is for you to FEEL great about yourself.

I'm not going grey.  I'm just not ready.  The front of my hair is a gorgeous white and has been for around 10 years.  I have a mohawk like skunk stripe of grey from my forehead to my neck in the back. It's the weirdest thing and difficult to color.  I generally get low lights and high lights.  Bleach, blond and brown so as it grows back the grey mixes with everything so that it all looks natural.  I get it colored about 4x a year.  I'm trying someone new this weekend to see what he'll do with it.  I'm always happy with my hair colored.

I say go blond girlfriend.  It sounds like you'd be really happy if you did.  You can always grow it out once you feel more settled into some work situation.  I figure when I'm ready to grow it out, I'm going to get some adorable short cut that will show off my good bone structure.  Hmmmm... maybe that comes after the facelift.  :)

Aww - thanks Lee!

The front is silver the back is darker.  The sides/top are kinda mottled... what's funny is in the picture it looks very silver but when I see it at home and at work (the lighting) it looks better.  I definitely know lighting can make a huge difference and I'm not really sure what the summer sun would do to it either....

Jody, be the happiest you can be when you look in the mirror.  Any old rules about how we should be, how we look, went out of fashion with our mama's.

That's quite ok!  I wanted feedback - sometimes we don't always see what everyone else sees, especially on ourselves.

I sit as we speak with color on my hair - time to go wa**** out!

I think you need to do what makes you feel best.

You are a beautiful woman either way.

Sorry I have no pics online to offer, but I had let my hair go gray and I thought it made me look pale and old. I then started to color it blond, but my skin type is too ruddy, so I ended up going dark blond and it is great. I actually let some hair stay gray because I am old enough to have gray hair. It is only hair no matter what color you use it will wash out. LOL
