Yea.. know what you mean. Tom wasn't thrilled with me going shorter - he liked it longer, but then he doesn't mind the color....

When I was talking about getting it cut shorter he said "don't go Ellen on me" - meaning he didn't like it that short, which of course I did... lol

Jody.......as someone with some grey I just have to say I love haircolor....I am so not a girly girl and am just south of 40 but have a lot of grey coming in and LOVE that my highlights helps cover them suckers up. With the new job hunt I route for blonde again but this is such an individual decision.

Gina.....I LOVE Glenn Close's hair......you couldnt go wrong with either one........you have a cute short haircut now though.

One of these days, my real pic will take the place of kermit on here.....I am slowly letting people know about my surgery so this is why I keep kermit.....have my real pic up on facebook.

Go for the blonde. I hear they have more fun!~ Good luck in your job hunt. I pray I still have one at the end of the year. NC is cutting a lot hope I'm not one of them. I am so ready for this economy to turn around. It is so hard on everyone.

Jody, I say go with the color. I love color and been doing mine since I was like 14 years old!! I do highlights now and they have to color around the edges first and then do the highlights because it is so gray.

I love the style you have now.

I had a hard time with the color "sticking" before... right around the temple it seemed to not "take".. of course it was the first place I applied the color too....

Actually the style in the pic was after the wind got ahold of it and it rained on us too - lol.. its usually "puffier" than in the pic.

Hi Jody,
I am a hairdresser by trade so please don't go dark. If you don't like it you are into paying big bucks to fix it. Haircolour doesn't lift haircolour so if you go to dark you have to use a two step (bleach and toner) process to lighten it. With your colouring the blonde will look great although I also like the grey.
