Well, in this very small hometown, I have been getting a little attention lately ( I failed to realize that even at 1-2 pounds loss/week, it really adds up quickly). And I am dealing with that...
But yesterday I went shopping and found myself in aerie, looking at specialty bras and workout wear. I asked the sales lady if their bras held enough support for us "older gals" (my opinion is this is more a "teen" store) and she replied "absolutely, boobs are boobs"!
Well, she had a point, so I explained I was probably a 36C and she said "No way are you that big around"! It felt good to hear it, but I was right. My ribcage is in fact a 36 band. Then when I was at the checkout with a comfy pair of sweats in a medium, I asked the cute, TINY girl behind the register what size sweats SHE wears... She said she is a 6 or 8 and likes the mediums, but then looked at me and said "you should probably get a small (!!!!!!!)."
Just gotta say, it feels so good to finally be where I am at. And that strangers look at me and don't question my size just plain feels GREAT. I actually crave the feeling of "blending" in a public place... And shopping is so incredibly FUN!!!!!!

Wow - that's great! It keeps coming too! Your head WILL catch up one day but its always nice to hear someone else say it!

I agree. I am finally not automatically heading for the big girl clothes. But now I have to find the petite smalls. Who'd a thought it.
