I had the same issue with the itching...have them call in some Atarax...that will take care of it quick!

Thanks.  I'll mention that to my doctor if I need to.  Today has been a bit better so hopefully they are on the way out.

I'm super late to the game here (finally catching up on posts after a week off for surgery), but I had the exact same problem with itching! They put me on the pain pump when I got out and at about midnight I started itching so badly. My back and my legs were horrible. I got them to put benadryl in my IV, but they could only give me a tiny dose since it was so soon after surgery. I didn't realize how bad it was until I woke up the next day and looked at my fingernails and saw blood under them. I still have scratch marks down my back and legs now.

The good thing is that it made sure I never slept, so I left my mom asleep (she was nice enough to stay with me) and walked the halls.
