Fitness Fun - April 13th

Good morning LW's,

How are you today? I did my split workout yesterday. Cardio @ lunch and then ran in the evening after work. I really did not want to go in the evening but I did and I felt great afterwards. My legs not so sore or protesting the running. I ran with compression shorts yesterday and everything feels ok...just felt like running with super tight pantyhose. LOL But anywho....I'll use it again I think...

Today I am just going to workout at lunch on the elliptical. Have class tonight so no working out tonight. Tomorrow I'll do another 5k run...building up my endurance again...Oh, I just love the Nike+ gadget. It is nice. It tracks mileage and maps runs and keeps track of heart rate, calories burned, the whole gig AND plays my itunes while I am working out. The iPhone app is awesome. BUT you don't have to have an iPod, iPhone, etc to have one...check it out. it's cool if you are a runner. :)

Anyways, what do you have planned today?

Hi Diana,

I walked at lunch today for 1.2 miles.

What is the Nike+ gadget???  Is it something like the Bodybugg?  I don't have an iPod or iPhone.

I have got to get started on my training for the Peachtree Road Race in July - 6.2 miles......
I bought some tights to wear under my shorts because I was so sore after the last 5K and I think it was because of the bouncing skin while I was jogging!!

I did my morning floor exercises and my weights but no time for anything else between meetings and billing. Tomorrow is Special Olympics so I will be chasing clients around the field, then in meetings for the rest of the day. BooHiss.

One of the ladies at Curves suggested I get compression capris for Zumba because of my bad knees. Do you think it would help?
