Let's play small boned, large boned....
Lee,
Where did you get these numbers from? According to these numbers I am small frame which is impossible. I am 5'6" (used to be 5"7" but shrunk due to multiple herniated discs in my spine) and my wrist is 6 1/8", making me small boned. I have gotten really really skinny at 125 at 5"6" and if I was small boned, I wouldn't be this skinny - all my bones are sticking out - my hip bones, my collar bones, you can feel my ribs, bones in my feet and my arms and legs are extremely skinny. Prior to my surgeries the last 5 months, I was a size 12 and now I am pretty much a size 10 in bottoms and an 8 in tops. Bottoms are a big problem because I need an 8 for the waist, butt and legs but my hip bones are very wide and I can't get them over the them. With such wide hip bones, I can't see me being small frame.
The very strange thing with me is that I had no fat on my wrists or feet and they both got smaller after losing weight. Prior to Gastric bypass I wore a size 9 Narrow - always had a narrow foot. Now I wear an 8 narrow. There was no fat on them before, so I don't understand how they could have shrunk so much and the same with my wrist.

Hi Randi,
This is the website that came up when I did a search for small boned? My feet were a 6 all my life till I got obese, then a 7 (particularly after major ankle surgery) felt better, then back to a 6.5 and now some of my 6's are getting loose on me. I've always had a short chubby foot. My toes are teeny tiny short lil'thangs.
We're all built so differently. At 157 I am in stretchy jeans size 10 but the waist is a little big. If I put on size 12P pants the legs are baggy but the tush is ok. I'm still carrying my weight in my flanks, tush and saddlebags. The rest of my legs fit great in a size 8 or 10 pant. I'm still really chubby in my arms so even being very small on top, I need larger to cover my arms all the way to the elbows. PS will help my arms if I go that route. I think my arms bother me more than anything because I never carried all my weight in my stomach, but that may change when the rest of the fat leaves my stomach.

It is amazing how we all carry weight differently. I am 3 inches taller than you and weigh 30 pounds more than you and we pretty much wear the same size. I can't even think about Plastic surgery - I have had way too many surgeries for me plus with all my excess weight loss, I have lost alot of my excess skin, I don't have much skin that hangs anymore on my stomach anymore. My arms are another story - they will always hang. My boobs are non-existant - went from a 44 D to a 34 B. I feel like a teenage girl (more like a 11 or 12 year old.)
