I'm essential until Monday afternoon, when the new Superintendent shows up. So, my plans are to read some books

, take some walks,

take some naps

, try not to stress eat.

Oh, and contact everyone I make payments to, so I can explain that since I'm not getting paid, they aren't getting paid

. I think they'll really understand

Awww Sue, I'm so sorry this is happening to all of you Federal Workers. It sounds like you have a great game plan for taking care of yourself. That said, I'm sorry your bills will pile up. :(

I'm sorry all this is happening. If they had simply done their job in Sept and passed the budget like they were suppose to for 2010-2011, none of this would be happening.

I am sorry this is happening to you! As a military wife, we are dealing with no pay as well. Stress eating has started a bit....I am trying to get myself under control! Hang in there!

Just to give you a silver lining. I won't be furloughed, but I will be working for FREE!!! I hope our elected leaders listen to the people who gave them their jobs with guaranteed pay and figure this out soon. Chin up.
