Short Version today.  It's freezing in Virginia Beach....I bet it's warmer in PA!!!!!  Today is DD#3 30th birthday.  Her DH surpised her and drove down.  He had something all planned to surprise her on the beach. It was so cold and it was my job to keep her outside until he came. She was so surprised and happy.  He is such a great guy!!

Happy B-day to your DD, Roz!  Woke up to a call from my mother letting me know that she fell and was laying on the floor.  She did not want to call the front desk at her place because they would call an ambulance. I tore over there, and helped her up.  Thankfully, she was fine.  I just ordered a better bed rail.   In the end, we had a nice morning  together.  I treated myself with a massage this afternoon - OMG, heaven!

Been sleeping/doing homework most of the day. Mom came and woke me up and asked if I needed to get out of the house so I ran a couple of errands with her and I'm feeling pretty good right now. Praying I will be ok to go back to class Tuesday where I will be using stairs.

Morning-protein drink (30)
Afternoon- 1/2 green tea jamba juice with added protein (9)
Dinner will be other 1/2 of jamba juice (9)

Protein is better today than yesterday, I just don't feel like eating at all (I feel like fresh post-op again and it's kinda nice!) water is good along with vits

There's a couple of ways to make it.

One way is to pour your coffee into a cup and let it cool to 130 degrees.  To speed it up, put some ice cubes in it until its cool, then add your protein powder and stir.  I use chocolate.  Gina likes vanilla cinnamon.

Another way is to mix your protein into a slurry with milk then add hot coffee over top and stir.

You can mix it up a bit with a slew of different sugar free syrups to get some other tastes.  One of my favorites is Peppermint Paddy - its a chocolate/minto mocha!!

If my coffee is hot, I mix my protein into a little milk and make a slurry and then add in my coffee...its more like a latte....when my husband makes the coffee on his early mornings...it is cold when I get up...I just add protein, stir well, and microwave it for a minute...any more time and it starts clumping
