Good Morning. Walking by the lake

I sure am looking forward to getting outside some today. It's supposed to be 60 degrees and sunny. The lake is calling my name. It's so pretty out there, all the trees are blooming and the ducks and geese are courting and consorting. lol

Anyway, I'm running a little late but just wanted to say good morning. Y'all have a great day.

Thanks Gina !

Yes we sure have gotten away from talking about appreciating the outdoors and spring and our moving healthy new bodies to just the same old same old PHYSICAL stuff ...

Or is it just me ? Im going for a run too ! Isn't it amazing how everything is like an INCH taller every time we get out and ALL THE Buds are burgeoning and birds are singing wow !

Film industry social event tonight .. going as my imperfect self ...

wish me luck please

Sounds so nice to walk the lake. We are suppose to be around 60 today as well, so I'll get the grandchildren out to play and shovel some snow to help it melt more. My daughter had so much snow when I arrived a week ago that the dog could do a little jump over the 6 foot high fence. I've been working on getting the snow spread out so it would melt faster. I just consider it more exercise.

Hope your day is great too!

It is a beautiful day here too!  I brought my sneakers to work.  I plan to take a walk on the Riverwalk for lunch.  DH and I have plans to get the bikes out tonight.  My tush is doing much better!  We didn't get them out yesterday because I was late getting home from work.  I did a quick day trip to Dallas.  I caught the plane up at 6:30am and the plane home at 6:30pm.  I'm running slow today.  I'll need the energy from the walk to make it through my afternoon.

We've been having great weather here as well.  Actually today it's heading back to colder with rain tomorrow and Friday.  I have a great lake right in front of my house.  I walk out the door and there I am with a 5K path around it.  I can walk the short way to work or walk the 3+ miles in the long direction.   We have so many geese and ducks that walking the path looks like it's littered with cigars in the morning.  Man do they poop!!    Last week a couple of days I got to walk the long way to work, then back home again in the evening.  That's such a treat.

How was your support group Gina?  I didn't get to read an update but I'll go look for one.   I have my SG tonight at Kaiser.

It would be wonderful to be able to walk to work.  Oh yeah, I work at home.  I guess I can.

Today is lovely here too.  The wind has settled and although it started out at 29, it is suppose to warm up to the 60s.  Errands, curves, church, grocery, home to drive ponies.

Walked DC again today.  Tom got in more walking than I did because I had a Dentist appt, but I got in my fair share.

This is the most exercise I've had in a LONG time.  I think I've done ok with eating...

Heading home and to the grind tomorrow.  I get to see the grandbaby - yea!  We're spending the night there tomorrow night then heading home in the morning from there.  Probably still snow on the ground - they've had their share of cold weather and snow showers while we were gone

I'M SO READY FOR SPRING!!  The trees and flowers here have just got me itching to get outside at home!  We can't plant anything until the end of May because that's when the threat of frost ends for the summer...
