Three Week Post Op Visit
Well I went back to the gym last night and did 20 minutes on the Precor (eliptical). I held on when I stepped off, just in case I was a little woozy but I was just fine! Before I did a bootcamp class and hope to start that again when I build up my endurance a bit. It is a 60 minute class and not sure I would make it through the whole thing just yet.
I am not a runner! In 2006 I trained for and completed a marathon with five other girlfriends. The only thing it did for me was give me arthritis in my hip!! After I finished it I vowed never again....well, maybe train for a half marathon but nothing more.
I have been reading on here about the Just Dance and Zumba for Wii so I think I will get those...my 7 yo daughter thought that was a great idea so she could do it with me. Such a good little cheerleader for me.
I'm hooked on my new Wii Fit program as far as exercise goes. I do Yoga, Strength Training, Aerobics, and Balancing segments.
All of which were essential in me being able to get back on a horse last Monday. Did I tell you about that?? Oh my goodness, I just had to jump in the water and sink or swim and I SWAM!! I was so excited that a goal had been reached and
