Fitness Fun - April 3

Well, sorry for the late post...but you had lots of time to get some fitness fun in today :)

What did you all do? Anyone use the Nike app for iphone? I was at the Apple store and the guy noticed my NIke shoes...and asked me about the Nike gadget that you can put in the shoe and upload data...hhhmmm sounds like a new toy....bwhahaha

Anyone have it or know someone who has??

No clue, but I believe my SIL has one for the android..... Anyway
We went bowling this morning and then took a 2 mile hike around a huge trail we have close to the house.

Felt amazing to get out and excercise, I definately feel it in my thighs..

i planted potatoes and onions, then drove Chili.  It was our first drive since my adventure last weekend with him.  He didn't seem to hold any grudges.

Whew! What a weekend. 11 women went to the beach and watched Tesla at the casino. Fun times. Not much fitness though! We ran 10 miles on Friday, then took a walk on Saturday, but that's it. I've heard of the Nike shoe thing, but don't know much about it.

I annotated a book and 2 articles today. In between, I took breaks to do bicep curls, tricep extensions, deadlifts (one-legged and regular), a plank, weighted crunches, and push ups.

Hi Diana!

Walked all over DC today.  Wish I had a pedometer.  Gina and I walked over 6700 steps yesterday...

My legs are sore - but its a good sore.  My feet don't hurt, so that's a good thing.  Will be nice and warm here tomorrow, so I'm definitely going to be taking advantage of the weather.  Going back to DC and doing some more siteseeing.

 One of my friends and I walked all over Central Park, the Upper East Side and Midtown yesterday.  I also ran about a 7 minute mile to go pick her up from Grand Central.  It was social exercise, which is always great, and my legs were even a little sore by the end of the day.  

I have been tempted by the app, but haven't pursued it.  Curious to hear how it goes for you if you do...
