Sunday Weigh In
I'm bouncing too. Frustrating but no way to help it that I have found. I think it is just about where we are in our weight loss.
I'm swinging that your surgery goes as smoothly as Roz's did. I think you will get better and feel so much better very soon.

(((((((((((Stacey))))))))))))))))), I am sorry you are bouncing.
Are you measuring yourself each month? Maybe you are losing other ways and not in lbs?

Duodenal Switch (Lap) 01-24-11 | Surgeon: Stephen Boyce | High weight: 250 in 2002 | Surgery weight: 203 | Lowest weight: 121 | Current weight: 135 | Goal weight: 135
Last week: 114.0
This week: 113.1
Minus for the week: - 0.9 lbs.
I can't believe that I am still losing, albeit slowly. The dietitian wanted me to keep my calories between
800-850 cal/day, based upon my height and activity level. She thought that I should lose between 0.5-1.0 lbs/week, which I seem to be doing. I am doing that amount of calories, but some days I have gone a little above it. Still exercising about 4-5 days/week, including a pilates reformer class once/week and 2 sessions/week with a trainer. Cardio is in there too.
My carbs have also increased, probably due to the dairy that I eat.
I'll take it.

I bet you're losing inches now instead of weight.

I think that is true. Some size 2 Petites are getting too big and I have bought a couple of size 0 pants. I think the weight training is making a big difference in losing inches. I definitely feel like I am building muscle, but the hanging skin is a pain. It would be interesting to see how much the excess skin weighs.
You are doing great with your weight loss!!!!
