It's not really that kind of show. It's more about getting women to feel comfortable with their bodies. They do things like have them look at a line of women and place themselves in the line according to how big they think their problem area is. The women ALWAYS put themselves too far up the line. They think their hips/stomach/ass/breasts are much bigger than they are.
The other thing they do is get them into a decent bra. Most of them have a bra with too small cups. Then they get them a bra that flatters their particular shape.
They show them 2-3 women in different outfits and ask them "who has the biggest X" (whatever their X is that they hate) and then they reveal that they are the same women and they just look bigger or smaller depending on what they wear.
They do do things like take them shopping and show them how to dress for their figures. I guess there could be some tips there but so far no one has had my body problems. It would be interesting to see if they eventually have a WLS patient on there (I only go through Episode 6 out of 16 before the computer went bonky.)
By the end, they do a "naked" photo shoot (with carefully placed drapes) and then the women go out and ask people if they look gorgeous. It's quite a difference from when they start when they don't even think they are pretty.

Like: Old Navy. never could shop there before. Today got a gauzy black linen shirt in a medium, a hooded pullover sweatshirt with a pocket for early morning walks, 2 pairs of roll top workout type pants in a M. I tried on cotton pants. The 12's were too loose in the waist. The 10's were a little loose in the waist but tighter in the legs. I'll go find pants at Kohl's instead. I'm just not build like a teenager at 60.

Well, I went to Kohl's today to get bra's and a pair of jeans that fit. What a joke - it isn't going to be easy. Well for bras, I think I need to go to the childrens department which is sad. Prior to the gastric bypass I was a 44 D and then when I got to my goal and prior to my 4 surgeries in October, I was a 36C. Well, I tried on a 34 B today and I couldnt fill it up. So, out of frustration I just got a few stretchy ones in a medium that can be adjusted via straps and buckel in the back. Eventually I will go to Macy's, I think they have 32 A, I never thought I would ever look for such a small size - it is sad. Then came the jeans. In October I was a 12petite - even though I am 5'6. Well, I tried on a 10 petite today and the waist and hips were fine but you probably could have fit in the legs with me. I think I have to go to the Gap and find some skinny jeans. I have a pair in 12's and they used to be my favorite. My legs are really skinny.
Now, the project is figuring out how to gain 15 pounds. I am down to 125 with a BMI of 20 - too low.
