Good Morning. Needing some intense retail therapy

Gail, the only important thing to know about Kaiser and Plastics is that nothing is covered.  It's all out of pocket.  A great PS came to our support group a few months ago, Dr. Hop Le.  He used to be at Richmond but is not in Marin.  Dr. Baggs said that he is tops in his profession and does beautiful work.  Several of us heard him speak and he was great.

A full consultation is $100.  I'm going to get a consultation when I drop these last 10-15 pounds.  Dr. Baggs said I'm good to go at anytime and was very encouraging.

Thanks, Lee. I thought that PS would all be out of pocket, but I wasn't sure where to start looking. I'll look up Dr. Le. It would be interesting to find out how much excess skin I have left, so I can stop focusing on a number. A hundred dollars for a full consultation would be worth it. I did start a fund for PS last summer, so I have a little saved up, but it may not be enough. Just have to see, after having a consultation.

It's all expensive!  I'm ok from the waist up.  I have a small muffin hanging on there but I get it goes with the last pounds.  Below the waist is a train wreck.  When the gal showed me the pics, I just couldn't believe it was me. She gave me a pamphlet on a full body lift.  I think I'll need that, or at least a lower body lift.  Unless the girls really take a dive, I can even life with them.  The arms are really bad and Dr. Baggs said they could fix them right up in surgery.  I don't think that I'll look ok without the surgery, regardless of how many weights I lift.   I really want a lower face (if that exists) lift to get rid of the jowly stuff.   I too have a savings but then it becomes an issue of being responsible with retirement.  I'm more concerened with pain levels and how long off work.  EEEK, I can't believe I'm even considering any of this!

PM me about the total body and lower body lift. My thighs are a total mess, my arms are wrinkly, and I would like a flat belly. I definitely will have to see what bothers me the most, and spend the money for those things. A lower face lift is definitely done, so you could do that, if you wanted.

Yeah, the time off work and pain issue are definitely considerations, but I know that I will have some things done. I have to be responsible about retirement, also. I put away a lot of money each month towards retirement, but who knows, if it will even be enough.

Did the pictures show how you would look with the PS done? How interesting. That would be great to see.

There's also  something to  think about that U might just recoup the  money spent thru promotion etc  because U are good looking lol !  its funny  but  better looking more confident people are paid better and  promoted better ...

so whose to say U  wouldn't come out  better off in the end having given this  necessary  gft to Urself ?

I really  regret  neglecting my own needs for so many ( largely wasted and frustrating ) years ...  this  I KNOW .

Ava, you are so right. We do need to take care of our own needs. I think you are right about the physical appearance, simce research has show that attractive people tend to be more successful.

My arms also are uggggly.  I just got the LL Bean catalogue and they have a couple of shirts that come in elbow lenght.  I could do that.  Most of the yuck is above the elbow.  I've also found some shirts at the thrift stores that have short sleeves but they are about elbow lenght.  Mostly fabric, not knit ones.
Your right, all those little cap sleeves aren't happening here.
