I guess I was testing the waters. Kind of hoping it would kill me and I would never touch it again. Well. My sister in law turned 40 but I ate ice cream cake. I tried a small piece of ice cream cake. I just knew it would make me sick. This was last Saturday night I have had the MUNCHIES ever since. I feel like a COKE addict.
I am 17months out.  I have noticed my body is bouncing back it is freaking me out a little. I used to have a J Low boooty. I have gotten used to my barely there hind parts. I truly didn't want my j low booty to return. As a small child my brothers called me bubble butt. I have had nightmares similar to the commercial where the lady is eating a cinnamon bun and her butt turns into 2 cinnamon buns.
I don't know what to do but stomp this carb monster right out of my head I am hitting the treadmill and try to do better tomorrow. In the past when I was able to lose weight I sabotogued myself. I don't want to do that this time. I have come too far and have gone through too much to turn back now.
Nothing tastes as good as this feels!

Ohhhhhhh, that ugly carb monster.  You can do this, you know how and you want to stay the tiny, energetic person you have become.

Bravo for this post. The first step is to own it. You know the next one. You can do it! Look at all you have accomplished.

Isnt it funny how the guilt gets to us?!   I made my daughter a dump cake last night.  I ate 3 or 4 bites then felt guilty as all heck.    Cindy

I'm going to take the opposite viewpoint here and say that it was really quite normal to have a piece of cake at a birthday celebration. personally its not realistic (and not healthy) for me to think that i will deprive myself for a lifetime.

while i'm certainly not endorsing cake-eating as a regular habit or a substitute for nourishing food, i don't think there's anything wrong with it, especially in the context of the situation you described.
