What is going on ?

I can't seem to figure out what is going on with me!!!  I have had a few episodes-  3 since February of the following:  Severe back pain, pain in the pouch area, sweating and shaking along with short labored breaths. No vomiting but felt like I was going to and no BM's to go along with it.  One episode landed me in the ER and I was diagnosed with Lower back pain and given a muscle relaxer and pain meds.  I eased up on the spin classes after seeing a chiropractor.  The last episode, today happened after lunch. I ate a Caesar salad with salmon  and my office mate kindly brought me a piece of cake (small thin slice) I have not dumped (I do not think)  and no on at work knows about my WLS.  My intent was to taste it by taking a couple of bites and throw it away.  A few others came in and we got to talking and before i knew it the cake was gone!  I did not even realize I ate it .  within the hour I started with the very familiar back pain.  It went away.  and I went to my 1 PM meeting.  By 2:30 I have to leave my meeting went in my office was having back pain, pain in the pouch area, sweating and shaking along with short labored breaths. I took a muscle relaxer thinking my back was having spasms again, hoped in the car and went to the chiropractor.  He did a major back adjustment, as I could not even stand to lay down for the Sim. He stated that a few of my back ribs were out of place by a tab and adjust them back in.  I left feeling much better as I did the time before. Drove back to work, got in the bldg and threw up, just slim.  With in a few minutes I was at my desk with ice on my back and all was well.

So these episodes I am having do you think they are truly back pain and the chiropractor does truly help...or is it truly dumping?  I am so confused.   any input would be much appreciated.

wow, I don't dump but whatever it is sounds horrible.  Hope you find out what.  And maybe I'd be staying away from the processed sugar just in case because I wouldn't want to do that again.

sounds like dumping 2 me .  All I know is dumping  is worse than the devil  and  a few episodes of it was  bad enough to scare me away  from sweets  permanently after a lifetime of  justifying snacking them . ...

yep .

Could it be your gall bladder?  I've had a couple of attacks and they cause me to have terrible back pain.

It does sound like dumping, but Yasmeen makes a good point about the gallbladder.  Before I had mine out, I always thought I had hurt my back, when in reality I was having a gallbladder attack.
