Wow - great news! Just keep the pain meds in you and you'll be ok, I was on them pretty consistently for 4-5 days. When you start going beyond your next dose by an hour then 2, you know you're getting better!
Drains are awful. That is the one thing that messed with my head big time. Keep the gauze around the drain where it meets your skin to keep it from getting too bad. AND - I don't think its normal... Mine didn't start bleeding for several days, and just one side. That's after I accidentally pulled it several times.

I let him know that Im a wimp when it comes to pain and he ok'd 2 percocette's every 2-4 hours - I have a timer on my cell phone and keep it going!
Yeah the drains suck - there just gross - what I am scared of is getting them taken out.
He did say he tightened the muscles vertically and horizontally, but he didnt have to do an anchor cut and boy oh boy can I feel the tightness!
