Trying to get caught up on everything.  Have my PCP appointment tomorrow and will ask for a potassium prescription.  Seems the only way to get enough.

Protein- I keep vanilla, chocolate and chocolate peanut butter.  I also has some left of Nectar latte and lemon tea but haven't used them much lately.  I also have several SF syurps and mix those in for a change.  My favs right now are chocolate protein with Rasberry syurp and vanilla protein in my decaf with a shot of carmel syurp.  I also put the rasberry in my peach tea but it isn't protein.  I'm still drinking almost everything hot.  Looking forward to hot weather so I can drink some shakes again.

Meals
egg, cheese  8g
taco bake  21g
dried mango  1g
chicken, parsnips 17g
decaf protein coffee  26g
hot chocolate protein  26g

totals
calories  662
protein  99
carbs, net  17

I have been bouncing around 140-141 for a few weeks now.  I hoped my hospital visit would shake stuff up but didn't seem to.  I guess it will break sometime.

its a varietion of the one on Bariatric foodie.  I make it different each time depending on what I have here.
Start with hamberger, ground turkey, whatever.  Cook crumbly and add a pack of taco seasoning.  You can add squash, onions, peppers, whatever or do it plain.  This time I added a can of diced tomatoes.
That goes in the bottom of a baking pan.  Then spread a can of black beans (or any other kind) over that.  Then a can of fat free refried beans over that.  Add grated cheese and bake until it is bubbly.
I eat it plain, my DH and DS eat it over chips.
You can add salsa, greek yogurt or sour cream.
I love it and it makes a ton so even when they pig out, I have left overs for the next meals.

This is what I have made in the past, the kids LOVE it

1 lb. lean ground meat (whatever you use)
1 small zucchini, diced (I leave the skin on for extra fiber)
1 small yellow squash, diced (same deal)
1 small onion, diced
1 clove of garlic minced
1 envelop of taco seasoning mix
1 can black beans (I used the spicy kind), drained and rinsed
1 can fat-free refried beans
1 can tomatoes and chiles (or canned diced tomatoes if you don't like the heat)
2 c. shredded Mexican blend cheese (you can do reduced fat or regular but NOT fat free!)

Optional toppings:

Unflavored Greek yogurt
Salsa

Directions:

In a sprayed pan, sautee veggies with garli****il they are softened. Drain any excess liquid and transfer to a bowl.

Brown ground meat, drain and then transfer to the same bowl and mix with canned beans and tomatoes and chiles.

Mix in taco seasoning thoroughly and then transfer mixture to a 13x9 casserole dish.

I'm so glad you are going to see your PCP.   I used to have to take Potassium when I was heavy and used diarectics.  Are you getting enough fluids in?

Love your variety and totals!!!

Rebecca Ann,

Aren't those Think thin bars AMAZING!  I found them recently at Marshall's of all places and bought every box they had!  :0)

OMG!!!! They are so good that I can't bring them into the house any longer. Over the weekend, I tried the fruit and mixed nut bar. Yummy!!!! Too Yummy!!!  Carbs are a bit lower in the fruit and mixed nut bar.

They are my absolute favourite bar, I'm hooked on the Brownie Crunch and the Peanut butter crunch.  I don't know what I'm going to do when my stash runs out, they don't sell them anywhere near me and it's too cost prohibitive to do mail order from the US.  :(
