I'm so sorry about your dog. I have 2 dogs that I love dearly so I understand how heartbreaking it would be to lose one. Hugs.

Melinda, I'm so sorry for your loss.  I had to take off work when we lost our little Daisy.  DH and I could not hardly walk in the house without crying.  It is so hard, but you will see your baby again.

I love my girls (3 cats) and I just couldn't imagine... they are family.

Ohh girl, hugs to you. I'm so sorry for you on this. Just give your other dog good hugs and lots of walking time - he/she will be depressed if you become depressed. You'll both miss the other one like crazy - but you can console each other.

So sorry for you. I know how you feel on this. The missing will slow down with time.

 No sadness from my other dogs. They are running around and seem to be celebrating having more of me to go around.

 Thanks everyone for the kind words and support. I know it was the right thing to do for her, so my sadness is just my own grieving. Still refrained from a box of cookies today. Went for a swim to clear my mind. Much better ways to cope.
