So sorry.  You'll see him again on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge.  I have a bunch of friends waiting there for me to come play.

I am so sorry you had to do that. It's one of the hardest parts of furbaby care. But you will see your furbaby on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge when it's time.

I'm so very sorry for your loss, Melinda. Take comfort in the fact that you gained an angel that will always watch over you. Your pup is in very good company with my two I lost last year. Take care of yourself, give your other pup lots of love and attention--they grieve too. *hugs*

Thanks Abby. Seems the only ones grieving are the people. My other two dogs seem to be celebrating. At least they are making me smile.

I am so sorry. I will have to face that myself at some point. It has been over a year since the vet told me that JJ, my little Chihuahua, has congestive heart failure and had about a year to live. Fortunately he is doing very well, in fact well enough to drive me crazy. I am hoping JJ proves him wrong and lives another 11 years. When it does happen I am going to be a mess.
Ah, as I was typing this JJ just crawled up my lap and curled up to sleep. He is my little baby. I don't even want to think about a world without my little JJ in it.
God bless you and hug your other fur baby tight.

I'll say an extra prayer for JJ.

(((HUGS))). I have cats and dread the day that I have to let them go. Animals are such wonderful unconditional friends. We are fortunate to have them in our lives. They give us such pleasure and happiness. Your coping skills are so much better now. Good for you!!!

Oh no, ((Melinda)). I'm so sorry. Hang on to your other dog and give him/her a tight squeeze. It's so hard to go through this.
