I am in no way suggesting for others to take the route I am taking and did not imply that in any way at all. For me though, my weight controls EVERY aspect of my life and for me it is very self-desructive. I developed bulimia because of this and in result my weight has been the same for 4 months. So a big step for ME (not suggesting everyone) is taking the power away from the scale so I can recover and focus on being healthy, and not focus on a number.

I think daily weighing has gotten a bad rap in dieting circles and most people think of it as a bad habit that they must eventually break themselves of if they want to be successful. I'm just pointing out that it this doesn't seem to be the case and people who don't have a problem shouldn't be so quick to ditch their scales.
All of this stuff is about benefits vs. risks so everyone is going to have a different answer. Plus statistics aren't predicative to the individual so just because something works for most people doesn't mean it works for everyone.
