Mourning my clothes

 i took me a year and a half  to actually  clean out my  closets  .....  '


and most of the  medium size  real expensive stuff  is still in the basement lol . It doesnt  help that  the landlord says  ill gain it all back 

I just am starting to be able to pull down my size 16p pants...all my clothes were really tight on me so I haven't bought anything new yet..
I'm really fitting into most 14p panst well but I hope it won't be long for me to NOT fit into them anymore..

I'm in the process of starting to give away some of the clothes but, it will be hard..I also buy nice clothes and do not like to give them away..

As for your leather blazer..I would have spent the money to have it altered.but then that's just me...if I lvoed it that much.....:)  That's also because my arms are short and it's very hard to find anything that fits me perfectly that way..you can always make things smaller...but ..it will be fun trying to find things that will fit you in a much smaller size!

i totally understand!  i discovered that i was using my big clothes as sort of a safety net.....sort of a "just in case i gain weight again".....but i finally got over that one.  i gave my clothes to a lady at church that had also lost weight and needed clothes really bad....so....they found a great home.  i kept my largest pair of jeans and the dress i wore to my son's wedding and that's about it!  i still have days i go to my closet to get dressed and try on several things only to find out they are now too big.....i throw them in a large rubbermaid container and will give them to the friend at church as well.

the good news is i'm hitting the clearance racks and finding some awesome deals!!!  i'm about as small as i'll get....can't picture me any smaller than i am.......so i'm buying some things now....

the funny thing......i'm now in a size 4 and wear small shirts.....never been a small anything....(thank you vanity sizing).....but i still catch myself wandering into the plus size dept!  it feels so strange to buy things that fit instead of buying something that will cover up my stomach!  i guess the brain will catch up eventually!!!
