My story is so much like yours,  had the TT and BL--do not want any more PS.  I have capris in size 8--really wearing 12's now (some 10.)  Have only gained 8-10 pounds.  BUT, I am having a hard time excepting this balance back weight and redistribution.

I like the smaller me.  I continue to work with the scales with food plan and exercise, but not making much progress.

I liked the smaller me too - mainly because I've never been that small before and loved how I looked (for the first time in my life).  I'm at the weight I was in high school and all the negative body image issues I had come back to me on occasion.  I know its distributed differently now than then, but still.... I've got to say though, I'm still called "Tiny and small"... its a great feeling!

I'm not going to let it get out of control though.  I talked to my BF today about starting to train for a 5K...

Glad about the 5K for you.  That is not in my future for a lot of reasons.  I plan to hit the walking more.  I walk 2 miles a day most days, but I am going to increase that.  I am trying to get the the gym for some light work out classes.  I have been eating too  many carbs, so I am going to cut back on them.

I had been drinking a lot of Crystal Light, but my urologist tells me to quit drinking them--he objects to aspartame.  I think missing CR is one reason I am having a hard time.

Oh well I am going to take it one day at a time and do my best.

I can so relate to this. This summer I was hating my thighs. They looked like twigs. Now things that fit over the summer are now a little to tight in some areas. I think I am beginning to fill out. I don't see a big difference in the scales but definately becoming more proportioned. My boobs are bouncing back a little. I actually have a little cleavage now where this summer I looked absolutely flat chested. The girls are coming back to town. Thank God for underwire. It has helped them to shape up a little. I can not afford PS. So if this is as good as it gets it's a far cry from where I was before surgery. I will take the healthier little bit saggy me over the obese ticking time bomb I was. That is for sure.
Nothing tastes as good as this feels!

Danielle - thanks for sharing that! I think its very important for people that are 6-12 months out to hear there may be a change to their body.  It changes all the time!!

Interesting point Jody.  I'm hating my deflated tooshie right now and my breasts NEED to be done, but I could probably give the butt a chance to reinflate.  However, if I'm going to MX to get my boobs done, I kind of feel like: why not get it all taken care of at once?

That was my thought exactly over a year ago - why not go to MX and get it all done at once?  There are several people on the PS board that have done that and it worked out well....  I actually let someone talk me out of it... geesh...

For what I've already paid, I could have had ALL the procedures done in MX, but my insurance covered the TT so I figured I may as well have that done here... then I was comfortable with the Dr so I had my "girls" done there.

Exactly!  I don't need a tummy tuck, just the boobies, so my insurance wouldn't cover it, meaning I'd have to go to Mexico anyway.  And then the more you have done, the more they discount it, so I may as well just become a Barbie doll!

My body will have plenty of time to redistribute because DH and I have talked about PS and it is a no go for me.  I'm ok with that.  If I had one thing done it would be the boobs.

I like the look of the new me in clothes, but my legs are a mess.  I can't wear shorts unless they are knee length.  I got a bathing suit, but it has board shorts because no way would I go out with my legs looking like this.  It is amazing that I didn't mind showing all that fat out in public!!
I can live with the arms and even the stomach.  My boobs are gone, but they were never that big anyway.  I hate underwire bras - they are so uncomfortable to me and I'm all about comfort.

Oh well, I'm very very happy with my WLS and the results and wouldn't go back to the way I was for anything.  I can atleast cover up the skin - I could never cover up the fat!!
