Stacey - I had you in gthe back of my mind when I wrote this because I know you're having issues with this.  But I also know it applies to everyone else....

You've got the right attitude about loving yourself.

Aside from having issues with wrinkly and saggy skin, I would rather have this problem, than have it all filled in with fat again. I am so much healthier and energetic, that I never want to go back to where I came from. No more pre-diabetes, no more sleep apnea, no more joint issues, etc. I'll take the skin issue. At least some of it, may be able to be improved. Not all of it, but some.

I agree with you - totally!  Its hard to see how your body changes, and people tend to think of it as negative - but think of all we've gained from this!

Some saggy skin is just a reminder of the battle we've fought.

The saggy skin and wrinkly skin are definitely battle scars. Good way to reframe it.

Liz - my knees also had wrinkles at one time... but they're not there (or as prominent now).

You may find in a year or so that it smooths out... I know everyone isn't the same, but we can hope, right?

I better re-distribute some to my boobs!! LOL!!

The insides of the thighs right by my crotch are horrid... Yucky!!
My arms right by my arm pits are.. well you guessed it... Yucky!!

The one place that will never go away without medical intervention is.... my Tummy. I know that because when I was at a normal BMI in my early 20's, I had a pouch - I had a pouch the day I was born!
Tuesday is my TT. I will post my before, marked up and after pics for everyone to see.

Oh - congrats on your upcoming TT - how exciting!!!

Remember to keep your pain meds going into you every 4 hours... relentlessly - 24 hrs a day for the first 4-5 days.  I had a timer by my bed and woke myself up to take them - it makes SUCH a difference for sleeping and when you do wake up - you can move without thinking you're going to die.

If there's anything I can do to help - just let me know!
