I remember when...
I was at goal and even a little below. While I LOVED my look in my clothes, I hated it outside (yes, as little as a year ago)
As most know I had some PS to take care of the tummy and bewbies, but I really DID want to have a LBL... but hesitated because of money and the recuperation/complication issues. After the bewbies I decided that I wasn't having anymore PS.
I have been reading a bit lately how people are not happy with their saggy skin. Unfortunately exercise cannot tighten the skin up, but firming muscle under it can help a little.
Why am I writing this? Because I was going through some pictures on my computer the other day and found some pics I sent to a PS in Mexico when I was thinking of going there. My legs were all saggy and baggy and looked shar-pei-ish, and I do remember not wearing shorts because my skin wiggled and jiggled when I walked.
Well yesterday I pulled out my summer capris and shorts and tried them ALL on. Yes, there were about 4 pairs that were casualties I cannot wear anymore. A few pairs I couldn't even get pulled up. Yep - they all fit good last year....
Yes - I've gained about 5 lbs and it seems to have all gone to my butt and legs. While I'm not happy about this, I've realized that a lot of the saggy/baggy has filled in and I don't look nearly as bad in shorts anymore! I also know over the past year (I'm 2 1/2 years out) that a LOT of redistribution has happened. So - the good with the bad....
I know my tummy would never have firmed up, thus the TT... and basically I wouldn't want it to fill in.. if you know what I mean! And the "girls" would always have been tennis balls in tube socks...
We're used to seeing our bodies all filled out with fat, and when its not - it can be a shock to us, as our body has changed tremendously.
But - what I want to share is to give your body time to catch up to the new you. You will have redistribution and maybe a little gain in some spots - but it may NOT be a bad thing.

Are you taking progress pictures along the way? I'm still amazed when I look back and where I lost first - my "girls" were the last to go. It went from my hips/thighs first - and that ALWAYS was the hardest place for me to lose in the past.

Yup, my dear friend takes photos and measurements for me once a month before my monthly bad therapy appointment. I didn't see any changes in the photos the first month, but the inches were definitely dropping. The sistas have shrunk some, but not so that DH notices.
Hi Jody, I am hating my saggy skin these days. It looks okay, when it is covered up, but my thighs are a mess, my upper arms are wrinkly, my bewbies-what bewbies? They are more like tube socks. My tummy hangs, but could be worse. Weight training has helped, but I know that it won't take care of all of the saggy and wrinkly skin. I keep telling myself to see how things redistribute, but I think plastics are in my future. I am 57, so my skin will not bounce back, like someone younger. Oh, I almost forgot, I have no butt, but have butt flaps. UGH!!!
