10 mile run this morning - 2nd one this week! I'm looking at a 900 calorie burn for this and just felt I needed the extra carbs/calories.

You are probably right about the carbs!!
I used to love McDonalds Fries before surgery. I even picked McDonald's for my last meal...my DD's thought I was crazy....LOL They are definitely a major no no for me so we don't eat there very often anymore but when we do DH usually gives me 3 or 4 fries and I eat them really slow and enjoy them. I still get the urge to stop there when I am alone. I just can't let myself get into that habit again because it would be the end for me.

That sounds like so much fun to have them all get together. We are trying to get my Mom's sisters and brothers together for her surprise 80th birthday party. She is the oldest of 8. Two of them have passed away. We are having trouble getting 2 of the others to come, but looks like everyone else will be there. She thinks we are having a family reunion.

Some of his sisters haven't talked since their Dad past away so this was really a great day for them. It was as though it never happened. His one brother-in-law recently passed away and his oldest brother just found out he has cancer and that seems to have brought them back together. My DD's were upset they didn't get invited because they are really close to their aunt who was having the birthday but it was really nice not having "kids and grandkids" there being the center of attention. They giggled and laughed like teenagers.
When you find a good low carb cookie you can let me know....LOL Sweets are the only think I really miss sometimes but fortunately for me I still dump on them. DH always buys a small bag of the mini M&M cookies when we go to the cheer gym and I can eat 2 without feeling sick so he always saves them for me.

Got home from a week at DD last nbight late. had a pretty carby blow out week unfortunately,but today am back on rack.
I plan by 2 weeks at a time to coincide with pay day/grocery day. If I didn't do it that way i don't know what we would be eating!
