Stacy, I am sorry that you are suffering. It seems inhumane to have you wait so long.

My challenge is to decrease the size of my skinny lattes from a Grande back to a Tall. The size has been increasing. I don't feel bad about drinking them, because it is about 100-130 cal and has nonfat milk and sugar-free vanilla syrup, but I do need to go back to the Tall size. I also figure them into my daily caloric allowance for the day.

if it's starbucks, pay $0.50 and add three scoops (or four) of protein powder, and it's the cheapest (calorie wise) breakfast you'll have.  Grande skinny latte with four scoops of protein powder is 36 g of protein.

I do that and don't feel bad about the calories.

It is Starbucks!!! Thank you for the tip. I haven't been adding the protein powder, but I will start doing this. I am a Gold Card member, so I get a reduction in the price of a drink (fifty cents), so I'll start having protein powder added to it. My new favorite is sugar-free vanilla and sugar-free cinnamon (cinnamon dolce) with nonfat milk. I wasn't feeling too guilty, but when the size has graduated to Grande, I was getting a bit concerned. With the added protein powder, it will be even better.

I rotate between skinny caramel, vanilla, and cinn dolce, and get 3 scoops of protein in a grande, and occassionally I get a venti with 4 scoops.  Just make sure they stir the protein powder first, and they know not to get it too hot as they've curdled the protein powder a couple times at my home Starbucks.  One of the baristas said to remind them to stay around 130 degrees and stir the protein powder in the milk first.

LOL!!! I rotate between the same flavors. This week, I am definitely going to try the protein, which will be my breakfast. I will also remind the baristas about mixing the protein in the milk first.

Thank you!!!!

They told me at starbucks that one scoop was only 6 grams of protein.  Is the milk making up the difference?  Also, is it $.50 for each scoop, or for any number of scoops?  I had a mocha frappachino light (they say 140 calories-but yum, yum) but I only added one scoop of protein because I wasn't sure I could handle the taste.

I'm in on the challenge.  My fluids have never been good-it's a definite weak spot for me, so that's what i will increase.  I'm not even going to go for a specific number, just MORE!  And I need to increase my vits.

yes, the milk plus the protein powder gives the protein count I mentioned. and only 50 cents no matter how many scoops of protein~~ at least that's what all the Starbucks around here do.

I'm in I have not been getting enough fluids for sure. I have been having bad headaches. I also need to get the dust off  my treadmill. I have had kidney stones over the last few weeks and had laid off of it more than I need to. FLUIDS AND EXERCISE IS IN MY GAME PLAN.
Nothing tastes as good as this feels!
