Janet, that's why I don't rely on the ticker, it gets stuck in the cache (esp firefox). I just write mine in. I know the ticker is more obvious but it is frustrating when it gets stuck like that. Plus I suspect that OH has to run a cron job to make new things to show up sometimes on their server. That's why new avatars, tickers, etc don't always show up the very min you put them in.
