We all know I have been complaining about my gall bladder for weeks now, and yes the sucker should be coming out on the 4th ( I pray) but within the last week I have watched EVERY last piece of food and drink that I have put in my mouth like a hawk...The pain in unbearable.

Foods I can eat:
crackers
chobani yogurt

Foods I can't eat:
Input EVERYTHING you can think of here this includes my ever much loved edamame!

I am unable to eat ANYTHING without the pain in my side making me double over, so I guess for the next few weeks I am living on Chobani yogurt....

DOCTORS ARE LIARS! With me everything hurts even drinks, it does not have to be high fat with me......

Stacey,
I'm so sorry you are in pain.  Can't they move up your surgery?

My Mom had gallbladder issues and had the horrid pain, too!  Hang in there and stick to that Chobani.

Is the surgery date inflexible since you are military?

Swinging critters for you!!!!

That is the exact reason, when I went to the emergency room they told me, no fever, no surgery.
Although I was in extreme pain because I have a date already they are making me wait.

Oh Stacey, I'm sorry you're in such pain.  What a bunch of bullpuckey that they can't schedule your surgery sooner.

I had a lot of pain with my gallbladder too. In the couple of weeks before surgery, I had to walk bent over because of the pain. Other things besides fatty foods really bothered me too, but I wasn't as restricted as you.

Hang in there. It feels like it takes forever to get to that surgery. I know.

When my gall bladder would act up, it wouldn't matter what I ate. Any foods at all made me hurt. In the end, I had to have emergency surgery because I had stones blocking the common bile duct and I was turning yellow from the jaundice.

Did they at least give you something for the pain?

I hope you feel better soon!

I am so glad I am not the only one who is in pain with everything. As far as pain meds, yes they gave me Norco and Zofran. I dont like to take the Norco though unless DH is home and I know I dont have to get up in the morning.
