Less than 10 pounds to goal!!!!
I will be having my 5 month surgiversary Friday, March 25th, and am at 139 pounds! I am in awe at how successful/fast this has happened!
I actually got scared last week for the first time in awhile, as I wondered "what if I can't stop losing"? My common sense tells me I will figure this out, but my history with my weight, and inability to figure out maintenance reminds me I am still a work in progress.
My goal for myself is to be in the middle of a "normal" BMI, thus 130#, but I am happy weighing the weight I am now. I feel good. And think I look good too (That's a hard one for me to admit). My husband is proud of my journey, but he has mentioned twice now "not to go looking annorexic"... That is his way of saying not to chase "thin" too far.
I wanted to thank you all for being my support network. it really helps to have people out there that understand what this journey is like. I appreciate it more than you know. And one of the craziest things I deal with now is trying to figure out what to wear each day to work! Not because i don't have things, but because I am so enthusiastic to get myself dressed up. So silly, I know...
have a great Friday everyone![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/_shared/images/smiley/msn/cool2.gif)

Congratulations on your success!!!! It feels wonderful to be healthier and more energetic. I know what you mean about the clothes thing. Shopping is so much more fun than it ever used to be. It isn't silly at all, to be enthusiastic about getting dressed up. You'll find a weight that you will be comfortable at and be able to maintain.
Good job!!!

Good job!!!
Gail
Congratulations! Better warn hubby that you'll likely go a little lower than he'd like and that you'll bounce back up a bit and then everything will redistribute and you'll get some of your cushion and curves back. This will take a couple of years so be patient, it's a process.

WOW....You've done Amazing!!!!
Gina's right....you might get to the bottom of your "normal" BMI but then it will bounce back up and settle in. Even though I haven't really lost/gained anything my body is starting to take on a new look lately.
