I hope it works for you!  When I was trying to break a stall I increased my calories about 200/300 through protein and then dropped back down and it worked every time.  My only suggestion is that if you are going to increase your carbs only use "good" carbs.  But do what you feel will work for you the best.

Great Totals!!

I think the trouble started because they told me to limit my fats and I don't think they realized how little fat I eat.  Even taking colace twice a day  I am always slightly constipated but my insides hurt so bad this time when I tried to push.  I was afraid I'd rip open my incisions.   My DH has diahrrea every day since he got his gall bladder  removed and he has to take medication, but I can't see that happening to me.

I think the hot tea with real sugar and miralax worked.

What are you celebrating with the cake and ice cream?????

How was the faux mac & cheese?  How did you make it?

Bet you have a good Protein total today!

Glad the hot tea mixture worked for you.  I used to have diahrrea after I had my gallbladder out up until WLS and then that changed the other way!!

No celebration - it was there and I can't resist sweets even if they make me uncomfortable - I'm so stupid.

The faux mac & cheese was delicious.  I made it like the old fashion mac & cheese my mom used to make for me - everyday when I was young no wonder I was overweight!!

I cut the cauliflower off and gentle boiled it just to soften it.  I put a little "I can't believe it's butter lite on it.  I mixed up some Hood calorie countdown milk and put an egg in it with salt and pepper.  I grated some real cheese(I don't do low fat or fat free cheese).
Sprayed a casserole pan and put the cauliflower in the bottom then put the cheese on top of it and then poured the milk, egg, salt & pepper mixture on top of it.  Baked it in the oven at 400 about 30-45 minutes until the mixture is set.

Even DH loved it and he hardly ever eats anything I make that is different.  I got the idea off of this website the other day.  I had tried this with spaghetti squash, but it was not nearly as good as the cauliflower.  I'll be making this alot.

Quick question Gina....What's the best vitamin for anxiety or depression?  I'm going to check it out on the web tonight but wanted to get your opinion.

Love all of the Protein!

Hi Roz!  There's also an all natura tea called "smooth move".  It has a chocolate flavor andworks good for me when I need something.  Its a stimulant not a laxative.

I never really thought about how NOT having a gallbladder would affect me and WLS.... hmmm... wonder if that has anything to do with my "irregularity" at times?

B - 2 protien coffees
L - Greek yogurt cheesecake w/crushed graham crackers
D - pork stead and a piece of rye bread and butter
S - beer

Vits:  yes
Water:  did ok
Miles:  went to zumba

I'll have to check that out...thanks!   What you eat and not having a gall bladder must have a lot to do with whether you have diarrehea or constipation.  My DH eats a lot of fat from donuts in the morning to fried foods all day long and he has constant diarrehea unless he takes his medication every morning.  I guess I just have to learn how much fat and meds my system needs to keep me regular.

I've noticed so many changes since they took mine out.  I don't have the bloated feeling or near as much restriction when I eat as I did before.  I guess when you have gallstones your body feels up with gases that make you feel full and that's why I haven't been able to eat much at a meal.

2 days after the surgery I had my first 3 course meal since WLS.  My family was in shock!!!  I had half of a small steak, vegetables, and a few bites of boiled potatoes and I didn't feel full at all.     I always get a stuck feeling when I eat steak but I've had it 2 times this week without a problem. It is down right scarey!!!!!!

The scales went up 5 pounds after surgery and now they are down 7....yippee!!

Was zumba class better tonight?

Glad to see you are doing Protein first!!

Maybe that's my problem and why I can eat so much - I don't have a gallbladder!!  Yea for the 7 lbs!  I'm trying....

Zumba was much better tonight - wore my "before sports bra" which was way tighter - and man, did it make the girls look good!  LOL
