Good Morning LW's!!!    I stayed home from work today (I know I rushed going back yesterday).  When I hear the words "Pain in the Butt" I will literally know what they are talking about.  I have never been so consipated and been in so much pain in that area.  I was up and down all night long running for the bathroom only to sit there in pain with nothing happening.

Double Colace isn't working.  I'm going to dig out the Miralax and I'm going to drink warm liquids, increase my fat today until things start working again.   Things seem to be easing up a little.

Since I don't eat a lot of fat I guess I'm going to have to figure out what is going to work without a gallbaldder.  I'm really not sure what I'm going to eat today.

Hello to all of my Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!

Writing everything down has helped me so much!!! I would really like to see some more posters.  Seeing what is working for others helps the rest of us put some variety into our meals.
It's very important until you reach Goal to figure out your Calories, Fats, Carbs, and Proteins so that you know what your body needs to lose and then to maintain!!!!

I'm going to pick some of those up.  I don't want to ever be unprepared again.

I don't like cottage cheese but the pie filling  really helps me get my yogurt in so I bet it would help in  cottage cheese too...thanks for the idea!

Great variety and lots of protein!!!

I feel your pain, Roz!  I never had such problems until the RNY - now I support the families of workers who produce Ducolax!  I recommend lots of warm liquids - for some reason, peppermint tea seems to help me.

I really think the warm liquids helped. I will buy some peppermint tea along with the suppositories that Christina suggested!!   I was thinking about going to work this afternoon but the thought of sitting on my office chair all day made me cringe.

Your bison chili always sounds so good. I haven't had any Wendy's chili since my surgery because they said they wanted me to watch my fats but I think it's time to add it back in.  I don't think they realized how little fat I eat.

Love the variety and that you are having your protein every meal!!!

I think the last post I remember you posting you were going house hunting.  That's awesome that you found one and getting close to having another one of your dreams come true!!!  My DD is going to start building in the fall and you are right, there is so much paperwork.

I'm going to try upping carbs for a few days, then lowering again to see if I can get out of the 140s.  So here is the plan.

Meals
cheese grits  9g
cream cheese, crackers, roast beef  11g
pepperoni  9g
steak, broccali salad  18g
decaf protein coffee  26g
hot chocolate protein  26g

totals
calories 768
protein  99
carbs  43

We aren't suppose to have starches more than 2x a day so hopefully that will be enough to jump start me again.
