Well  , my renegotioation plan isn't going so well to say the least .

The truth is  the situation has STAYED This  way all these  years because it suited the landlord's needs . Now  I have to ( I guess  ) either force his hand by  consulting a lawyer  and twisting his arm using the money he stole ....

or  do what I have done until this point  .. accept the unacceptable  .  Or I can LEAVE  which would open the door  to new possibilities ..

but in the eyes of most New Yorkers who  value rent controlled and  ( rent free ) which is what I  have spaces  as  GOLD and DIAMONDS  ......

CRAZY .   I  mean people  in NYC  would KILL  for a rent free ( and utility free )  parlor floor  ( and basement  and upstairs exercise room ) with ten foot ceilings  and a backyard ... trust me ... literally  ....

I think I  will try the former when the situation with my inspections in Jersey settles down .  ( oh this City is being Mean ) .

Hey , maybe ,  finally  I will concentrate on becoming a movie star  /and or an artist lol       nd have a little  faith in myself and my talent ...

im glad im removing my focus  from trying to please him anyway ... I can really see  that he's  a Ba...d that doesnt mean me well  in the long term and thats ok ...  that means id be Stoopid to  take care of him  and make years  of sacrifices for him  like I have been .

The best  way I can punish a guy is to take my focus  away lol ...

I would hate to see you lose that place after all the hard work you've put into it. I hope everything works out though. You are a strong and bright person and I'm sure you'll figure something out.

Good grief!  I know this is terribly stressful for you!  I admire your courage as you stay with your dreams in the big city!

As a true southerner, I don't understand the whole New York/living/rent/apartment deal.....of course the only information I have is the TV!

Come on down to the south!......we have a modest 3,000 square foot home on one acre , front yard,  backyard, full finished basement, 3 car garage etc. for the low, low price of $$275,000!!!  I'm not kidding about the modest......you wouldn't believe what you can get for the money right now....especially with the housing market squeeze!

The whole cost of living thing in various parts of the country fascinate me!!!

Take care and I know you'll land on your feet and end up EXACTLY where you need to be....and you might love your new place even better!!!!   Best wishes!

There comes a time for all good things to end.  And USUALLY, other doors open.  But a back yard????  Does that screw you out of your garden?

I do know that resolving a bad situation leaves lots more energy for positive stuff and stops the negative energy drain.  And that is something we all need.

So, I love

You could come live in my town of Lewiston.  Long growing season, cheap real estate, beautiful weather and we would have alot of fun!

would that I could work there Dear Sue! unfortunately the mecca for us design folk is NY City whether we like it or not

well I didnt accept the driver today and am driving myself for the first time in YEARS ....well see how THAT goes ...

and I plan to do start the copying of the accounting of what he stole ( thats why i didnt want the driver ( the spy ) around ...

I just hope I dont end up cracking up my own car from being too tired and out of practice !

Emotionally it feels RIGHT and GOOD to finally take my head out of DENIAL and allowing WRONG to be perpetrated on me and do something about it though ... hard as it may be... and however STOOPID i am feeling for allowing it to happen in the first place .

i have to pat myself on the back a little and give myself a hug here I just PRAY God who watches over fools and babies watches over me today and doesnt let anything happen to me in the slippery snowy and icy conditions as exhausted as I am .
