Using your own body weight for lunges, pushups, squats, planks, etc., are also effective fir building some muscle.
On the fish oil. Take a look at Coromega or Barlean's Omega Swirl. Regular fish oil gel caps..not too sure you'd absorb the oil.

Personally, the Coromega's made me vomit, I couldn't stand them and I tried everything, so good luck...
I prefer to call it "shrinking into" and then "shrinking out of" my clothes, cuz you aren't growing :P
