Thanks.  I've never been fitted for shoes -I just try them on and get the ones that feel good.  If I'm going to be serious about this I need to go and have this done.

Congratulations!!!! How totally awesome for you to do this!!! WLS certainly does make our lives better and we are able to do things that we never thought that we could do before we had surgery.

Thank you.
I bet that 5K was something around Lake Lanier.  It is so beautiful up there.
We will find out the end of March or first of April if we were selected since it is a Lottery now.
Good luck to you.

it was beautiful and the weather was perfect!  the race route was lined with signs of all of georgia's fallen soldiers.  quite an emotional experience to see that sign and realize that was someone's son or daughter!  really kind of brought it into perspective of all the families that suffered such loss!  and the $ raised went to the families of the fallen soldiers which is a great cause!

i was so excited because i had ran a personal best at 38:55!  the funny thing is i think i did better not seeing signs that said, 1 mile, 2 miles, etc!  how funny!  i just ran!  well....to be honest....my running looks more like a chicken trotting across a yard!  but....in my heart....i run like a gazelle, babeee!

let me know when you hear about the peachtree road race!!
Blessings,  J
